I have always been an active person; beginning my career in the military I quickly became fascinated by how far I could push myself both physically and mentally. I loved the challenge and this lead to a determination to be the best I could be and through strength training I found a new confidence in my ability and my body. As my interest in fitness progressed, I found that I was less concerned with aesthetics and more by functional movement, how my body moved and how to train to get the best performance and flexibility I could from my body.
Becoming a Personal Trainer was the best thing I have ever done. I am passionate about being active in both the body and mind and believe that we achieve health and happiness by not just training the body physically, but by putting the same effort into the mind, following a healthy, balanced diet, getting enough sleep and learning to identify and cope with the stresses and anxieties that life throws our way.
No two people are the same which is why I take a tailored approach to my training programmes, considering lifestyle, nutrition and psychological wellness to ensure that each session is designed to meet a client’s individual needs and goals.
